Through the Haitian Outreach Program, the  members of NCMAR sponsor a 12 year old boy named Christane Jean Jules. Through our sponsorship he is able to attend school at St. Marie School in Haiti. He is currently in the second grade.

Christane lives with his mother, father, three sisters and four brothers. His favorite subjects in school are Math and French. He loves to study and understands it is a priviledge to attend school. He loves music and sports and his favorite color is black.

NCMAR members contribute the $260 needed each year to cover Christane's sponsoship. Change jars are placed on the table at the April dinner meeting and the change collected is then used for the sponsorship. A backpack and bin filled with shoes, school supplies, clothing and food is sent to Haiti through the Haitian Outreach Program Coordinators.

Haitian Outreach was founded by Norman and Lorrie Charpentier in 1983. Lorrie Chaprentier was a REALTOR for many years with Towne & Country REALTORS until her passing. The Charitable Foundation participates in Haitian Outreach in memory of Lorrie.
