HOUSING STIMULUS   The White House has released these documents regarding the new "foreclosure plan" announced by President Obama.  Technically the name of the bill is the Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan.  

• The first document is a detailed summary of the provisions outlined by the administration.
• The second document describes how the plan will help 3 different "families" facing foreclosure.
• The third is a question and answer series.

 FANNIE MAE Eliminates “4 home limit” for investors -- Effective March 1, 2009, the 4-mortgage limit is being eliminated and the new policy will allow up to 5-10 financed properties, depending on the qualifications of the individual applicant.   This will offer more opportunities for qualified investors to purchase and finance additional properties.  REALTORS® working with investors should review the details of this change carefully.  For more details, including reserve requirements and the “1-4 Family Rider,” please refer to the FannieMae Announcement
