Being active in NCMAR can, without a doubt, enhance your career - through volunteerism, education, and numerous opportunities to meet other real estate professionals both inside and outside of your market area.

North Central Massachusetts members have “ownership” in their Association allowing for the ability to affect change within the organization. We invite you to become involved in any of the many committees, workgroups, regional meetings and community service projects throughout the year. Through participation, your expertise and input can be used to fulfill the particular focus of the gathering.

The North Central Massachusetts members cultivate and cherish community spirit, local identity, tradition, and the sense of family through the many community service projects and membership gatherings that are offered.

The Association knows that your time is valuable. Our membership meetings allow ample time for networking and socializing while keeping the meeting streamlined. Full of pertinent information and time for personal accomplishment and recognition, the experience is enjoyable yet brief.

As a REALTOR®, members pledge to abide by the National Association’s Code of Ethics. The code imposes a high standard of professional conduct that members observe during their daily real estate business. In the case of an ethics complaint or arbitration request, the Association provides assistance in filing. Mediation is also offered free to all members that would like to mediate a commission dispute that would otherwise go to arbitration.

Regional meetings, broadcast faxing, broadcast email and the web site were all developed to gather information from the members and to communicate pertinent and time sensitive information back to our members. To be successful the Association knows that two way communication is essential.

As a member, you can expect the Association to offer you options such as staff email, web site, discounted resale items, and more. The Association Office will continue to be a distribution center for electronic lock boxes and keypads, a training site for MLS, a distributor of our Association’s and MAR’s real estate forms, and a provider of outstanding continuing education.

Since its charter in 1946, the members of the North Central Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® have played a vital role in the lives of hundreds of thousands of families in North Central Massachusetts, making the dream of home ownership a reality.
