2018 NCMAR Scholarship Program

Each year the North Central Massachusetts Association of REALTORS gives out scholarship awards to deserving high school students in the North Central region.  Our Committee seeks students with the necessary desire, character, academic achievement and community involvement that need the financial assistance to achieve their dreams of higher education. 

Below are the scholarship applications for the 2016 year.   Each application must be fully completed and all additional requirements on the application fulfilled.   Please review the information provided under each application for specific requirements. 


2018 NCMAR Community Scholarships

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP

The North Central Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Memorial Scholarship awards are each $1000.

QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS

Members of the family of both NCMAR members and employees shall not be eligible to apply for or receive this scholarship.  Family shall include children, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. If you are unable to apply for this scholarship due to these restrictions, you may apply for the Willard Ide Shattuck Memorial Scholarship.

Applicants must have successfully completed their junior year in high school and must have made application to attend an accredited college or university.

Award recipients will be notified by mail/email in May.  Actual award of the scholarship shall be given to the recipient upon completion of the first semester of college and verification of student's second college semester enrollment.

APPLICATION: All applicants must complete the attached application form supplied by the NCMAR Scholarship Committee.  (See link above)

TRANSCRIPT: Applicants must enclose their high school transcript.

ESSAY: A typed one page (double spaced) essay on the reasons why you should be considered for this scholarship.

2018 Willard Ide Shattuck Scholarship

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP

The North Central Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Memorial Scholarship awards are each $1000.

QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS

Only individuals who are related to current NCMAR members shall be eligible to apply for or receive this scholarship.  Such individuals shall include children, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, grandchildren etc.

Applicants must have successfully completed their junior year in high school and must have made application to attend an accredited college or university or currently enrolled in a college or university up to and including their junior year.

Award recipients will be notified by mail/email in May.  Actual award of the scholarship shall be given to the recipient upon completion of the first or current semester of college and verification of student's future college semester enrollment.
